If you are coming from Ljubljana on the motorway, take the Jesenice - West exit and immediately afterwards turn left towards Kranjska Gora. In Kranjska Gora, continue straight on towards Podkoren, and shortly after arriving in the village, turn right towards Korenski sedlo. Follow the ascending road through the forest and after about 10 minutes, a macadam track will branch off to the left (you will also see a small sign for Tromejo). Turn here and park on the side of the road.
Trail description:Continue on foot along the macadam track, which immediately turns left and then continues along the road. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will come to the first crossroads, where you keep to the right path, which will soon lead you to a beautiful view of the Alps, and then into the forest again. Continue on the track, which crosses a small stream a few times. On this path, which climbs very slowly, we stay on for about 1 hour, when we come to a fork, at which we turn sharp right, which is also indicated by the sign for Tromejo. Climb up the track and you will come to another fork where you turn left. The path starts to climb more steeply here. When it levels out again, you will come to another fork, where there will also be an educational sign. Keep to the right path, which initially leads you along a sloping path. At the fork again, turn left onto the ski slope and climb steeply along the slope to your destination.
